terms
terms.
updated 5 September 2026
These terms cover use of reprise. They are complete enough for an early gym with a fake merchant and a written catalog still under editorial review. They are not a substitute for advice from a lawyer in your country, and they do not promise a security or availability outcome we cannot keep.
The product
reprise is a recognition gym: short drills, a daily set, an owned Map, optional Board, optional Team. It is not a credential, not a hiring score, and not a surveillance tool. Rings are coarse memory, not grades.
The guest drill on the marketing page is a demo. It does not copy into your Floor. The gym catalog is the written drill library (still under editorial review). Today’s set and targeted practice load drills from that catalog.
Accounts
You need an account to use Floor, Map, Board, Messages, Profile, and Account. Join is GitHub, Google, or email through Logto when live. You are responsible for the inbox you control.
Log out is a first-class action in the header. Use it on a shared machine. We may close an account that is used to attack the gym or other members.
Your map and catalog
Judged lines update your map. Missed practice softens rings over time. We do not sell that map and we do not turn it into a public ranking unless you opt into the Board, which still shows rings rather than numbers.
Drill text is ours (or used under license). You may not scrape the catalog to republish a competing gym. You may practice. You may not claim a reprise drill as a certification.
Plans and money
Free includes the Map and today’s set. Targeted practice after the set is trial, pro, or team, and it stays open while payment is past due. The Board is trial, pro, or team and closes on past due. Team seats are the Team plan. A 14-day trial starts with no card in this build.
This build's checkout is fake. Confirming “go pro” or “payment failed” changes entitlement on purpose so we can test the gym. It does not charge you. Payment failed only applies to an active or past-due billed plan; it does not turn Free or a trial into past-due practice. End trial only applies during a trial. When live billing ships, prices and renewal will be shown before you pay, and these terms will name the processor.
Ending a trial or downgrading to free keeps your map. A past-due team keeps the room during a grace month; practice on the Floor stays open; the Board is closed. After grace expires the room closes and we never put you back without a new invite. Recovering payment during grace keeps the same room. Cancel, downgrade to free, or refund of team closes the room immediately; leftover invites die; paying team again reopens without silent members. Cancel of a solo plan stops the fake period; access follows the entitlement machine, not a guilt wall of missed days.
Team and Ask
Teams are invite-only. A solo Free, Pro, or trialing account does not see Team in the nav. A lead may invite by inbox or claimed tag; the server stores the matching email and rejects the invite when seats are full. We do not send invite mail — share the link. A lead may cancel an unused invite. A member may send the lead one Ask: one line, delivered to Messages, not a chat. The lead may mark it seen or leave one note. That is not a thread, a badge count, or a performance review. A second Ask waits until that one is seen, noted, or closed.
Do not use Team to harass. A lead can revoke a seat. We may close an account that is used to attack the gym or other members.
Board
The Board is optional. Join identified or as a ghost. Identified members can change the handle from the wall; it locks for 30 days. Leave whenever you want. Rows are other members who opted in. The wall is not a ranked leaderboard and it is not a promise of placement. This build does not group the wall by company.
Acceptable use
Do not attack the service, scrape at a volume that knocks it over, impersonate another member on the Board, or use reprise to store secrets or malware. Do not attempt to recover Logto or payment secrets from the client. Rotate anything that was ever pasted in a chat.
Availability and changes
The gym is provided as-is. We will break things. We may change drills, decay windows, or plan gates. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, a particular security outcome, or that practice will transfer to a job. If we discontinue the product, we will say so on the site. We are not liable for lost practice, lost jobs, or “I went stale.”
To the extent the law allows, reprise is not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability for a claim about the gym is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the three months before the claim (zero while checkout is fake).
Law
If we need a governing law for a dispute about these terms, we will name it when the company is incorporated and billing is live. Until then, treat this page as the contract for using an early gym, and contact terms@reprise.run if something here is wrong or missing.
